K.J. Reilly.
Ms. Reilly is a Digital Artist who specializes in mixed media collage. With no formal training, Katherine studied Art as a hobby before she began creating her own work. Inspired by Abstract Artists of the Twentieth Century, Ms. Reilly's work is influenced by Kandinsky, Bearden, Miro and Basquiat.
One of my new favorite contemporary Artists happens to be the daughter of Norman Mailer. Kinetic and Magnetic at once - Danielle Mailer's work is a colorful explosion of patterns. Her work can be described as a mix of spiritual and mythical. Ms. Mailer is presently showing in New York at the TNC Gallery, and she also has a self-named Art Gallery in Goshen, Connecticut. The Naked Truth
Art comes in many forms. There are performance Artists, Fine Artists and Con Artists. But, then there are those who push the envelop to create impact that jolts the senses, negatively or positively. One such artist can be often found on Astor Place in the East Village, NYC. Although, to be fair to the musicians (off camera), he may not have been a part of the act.
Amazement and Laughter is the prevailing tone of the people as they pass by or stop to watch. The question is.....Did the near-naked dancer help or hurt the musicians' tip revnues. Whatever the Case, he gets an "A" for amusement.
